In light of this, we have an industry leading browse-to-order conversion rate of 8-10% and nearly 60 billion points redeemed to date in our shops.
However, in a bid to increase the conversion rate further, we worked with experts in the retail industry to improve segmentation models which led to the implementation of a strong recommendation engine, resulting in a 30% conversion rate, and a 20% increase in orders coming from the suggested products.
Part of the success of the recommendation engine can be largely attributed to the KPI tree we built to simplify the complex relationship between: traffic, conversion, miles balance, basket value and product pricing. This allows our data scientists to look at key parameters, comparing against timelines or across programs and quickly identify which area(s) Loylogic needs to focus on to increase conversion rates. Not to mention that this information can be accessed by program managers at any time by logging into our new KPI dashboard.
