Member engagement in loyalty programs is declining and the limitations that earning online offers is contributing to this. In the coming weeks, Loylogic will launch Akruu, a multi-module points accrual platform, which is a way to address this decline in a cost effective way to programs.
Earlier this year, Loylogic surveyed over 5,000 global frequent flyers. The findings revealed that nearly 80% of respondents would take the time to sign up to be a member of an online community that offered different ways to earn points with their preferred loyalty programme. Of the 80%, nearly 60% indicated they would like to be instantly informed when there are opportunities for them to earn points: a large indication that members will adjust their behaviours in order to earn more.
Launching soon as the first of its kind, Akruu will offer multiple ways to earn points or miles from the preferred loyalty program currencies selected by the member through an ever increasing range of modules that are designed to fit the lifestyles and trends of different accrual segments.
